Veneers have the ability to enhance the whole appearance of your smile. It’s a solution on some cases to provide you with a beautiful smile without having to go through an extensive orthodontic treatment.

Veneers are commonly used to treat:

  • Gaps or crooked teeth
  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Intrinsic stain/ discoloration on teeth
  • Irregular shaped teeth

Porcelain & Composite Veneers

PORCELAIN VENEERS – Porcelain veneers have the ability to enhance the whole appearance of your smile. It’s a solution to provide people with a million dollar smile without having to go through an extensive orthodontic treatment.

The veneer itself consists of thin ceramic strips that have an attached adhesive layer, the strips replace the original tooth enamel. To do this, a small layer of the tooth enamel is removed. Removing the enamel enables the veneer to sit flush on the tooth and this is what helps create the visually seamless look. The adhesive layer is attached to the tooth using a light-sensitive resin hardening with a special curing light.

Porcelain veneers produce a visually seamless look. What does this mean? Once attached to the tooth the veneer is almost impossible to tell apart from the rest of your teeth. Porcelain veneers also have a range of other benefits including:

  • Veneers can resist staining and damage that normal tooth enamel can’t
  • They provide a quick fix solution to small gaps and other blemishes
  • Some teeth are resistant to teeth whitening, veneers are able to produce a permanently bright and white smile
  • Veneers are able to strengthen teeth that have suffered minor damage

COMPOSITE VENEERS – These are relatively cheaper alternative to porcelain veneers. They may not be as strong as Porcelain Veneers and are susceptible to breakage, chipping and discoloration. They are constructed with composite (white) restorative material. The surface of the tooth is prepared with very minimal preparation and then dental adhesive is applied before composite (white) restorative material is sculpted and light cured into position. It is highly polished to give a beautiful glossy smile.

  • Preserves your natural tooth structure
  • Colour match to natural dentition
  • Single visit
  • Cheaper than Porcelain Veneers

COST OF DENTAL VENEERS – The cost of dental veneers will depend on a number of factors, including the type of material.

COMPOSITE VENEERS – From $600 per tooth
PORCELAIN VENEERS – From $1700 per tooth

Teeth Whitening

Brighten your smile with instant results. Most of us consume things that leave our teeth a few shades dull of their natural bright and white colour. While we can remove a lot of these stains by brushing our teeth, eventually, persistent staining finds its way into our tooths enamel and is hard to remove.

Teeth whitening works to penetrate the small blemishes in the tooth enamel that trap everyday strains. The bleaching agent used in teeth whitening is able to get down into the enamel and break down the staining. This bleaching agent is used alongside another whitening agent to leave the teeth looking brighter and cleaner.

The two main teeth whitening options are

  • Professional in-house whitening treatments
  • Take home whitening kits

In-house whitening is perfect for individuals seeking an immediately rejuvenated smile. An in house whitening procedure can produce these results in as little as an hour.

Take home whitening kits are also able to harvest great results (providing the kit is provided by a professional dental service), but require the individual to apply teeth whitening on successive occasions over a longer period of time.

SmileStyler is Australia’s solution to Orthodontic Clear Aligners. Clear Aligner technology has been available since the late 90’s as an alternative to fixed orthodontics/braces. Since the market opened in 2017, SmileStyler has taken the opportunity to show how aligner therapy can be simplified.

Proudly bearing the Australian Made logo, SmileStyler’s local operation provides Caroline Springs Dentists the benefits of fast delivery and the revolutionary Phased Treatment.

SmileStyler is a series of sequential Clear Aligners that bring you to your dream smile by gently shifting your teeth into the desired position. The focus on aesthetic orthodontics considers the final tooth position in relation to your facial features.

Each aligner is removable, so you don’t have to give up the things you love. Live your life and straighten your smile.

Am I a suitable SmileStyler Patient?

SmileStyler can address a range of dental malocclusions, such as:

  • Crowding
  • Gaps or spacing
  • Gummy smile
  • Rotations
  • Overbite
  • Overjet
  • Crossbite
  • Underbite
  • Midline discrepancy
  • Buccal Corridors

Why SmileStyler?

Moving teeth is a complex process and may require a refinement, or mid-course correction, potentially adding weeks or months to your total treatment time.

Unlike other Clear Aligner providers who make the entire set of aligners at the beginning of treatment, SmileStyler manufactures in Phases. Towards the end of each Phase, consisting of a limited set of aligners determined by your clinician, you are rescanned to check how treatment is progressing. This scan determines how your next set of aligners are manufactured to ensure that every single aligner fits and effectively progresses your treatment. This eliminates lengthy delays in your treatment caused by a mid-course refinement.

This process not only allows for more accuracy but reduces the amount of waste that goes into upfront bulk aligner distribution.
